Some songs I wrote...

I Believe

There was a man who walked with Yahushua to Galilee

They went many places and sometimes he said to Him, “I don’t understand.”

But sometime passed by and the others said, “He’s risen but not yet to glory,”

He had the same unbelief,

But Yahushua appeared and he said,

“O, I believe! I believe! That you’ve risen now and soon we’ll all be in glory!

“I believe! I believe! I’ve seen the marks of your love, and I believe.”

There’s been times I’ve walked with Yahushua, mentally.

And there’s been times I’ve said to him, “I don’t understand.”

Then the time passed by, and Your word said to me, “He’ll come back and you’ll be in glory.”

I’ve had the same unbelief,

Then Yahushua came to me, and I said,

“O, I believe! I believe! That You’ll answer every prayer, and soon I’ll be with Thee!

“I believe! I believe! I’ve heard You call my name, and I believe.”

That long time ago when You talked to Thomas,

You gave an answer that I will never forget,

I’ve held onto it and even tried it out, many times in my life.

I’ll always know Your answer, for you said, “Blessed is the one who says,”

 “O, I believe! I believe! I heard You’ve risen, and I don't need to see because,

“I believe! I believe! You’ve spoke the word, that’s all I need, for whatever You say,

“O, I believe! I believe!  Soon my name will forever be sealed in glory!

“I believe! I believe! I know You’ve risen now, and I believe.”

“I believe,

“I believe, in Your name,

“I believe!

My Love

There were times I walked through the valley of temptation

Where the enemy sought my life to make me fall.

But I found myself at your feet again

Begging for freedom, and redemption for my sin!

Chorus

You are my hope, my only hope

My love, my joy

You are my helper, in times of temptation

My love I bestow, unto you... (2nd Chorus Repeat line 2X after)

I know there's times that I still do not obey You,

And at that time it seems that I've forgotten You forgive.

But all I have to do is look into your eyes,

Then you lift me up and hold me once again.

Chorus

There's A Love

There's a love that no man can calculate.

It's a love that forgives all sins, small or great.

A love that gives us grace for a new chance

A love that is never quenched or taken away!

(*Chorus*)

It's a love that's given by the Creator, and His awesome Son above.

Love and forgiveness, free for all, just repent and turn from your sin.

Start a life anew in Him, walk in His love and His grace.

With humble submission follow Him, follow Him all of your days.

There's a love that is deeper than the ocean,

It's a love that's higher than the heavens are from the earth,

It's a love that would die for you and me,

It's a love that laid down Their life to die on a tree!

(*Chorus*)

There's a love that can soften the hardest heart,

It's a love that can break any chains apart,

It's a love that lasts until your life is complete,

It's a love that will last throughout eternity!

(*Chorus*)

For Me

Tribulation's coming, will we be prepared,

For this troubled time of danger?
Will we stand and have courage?

Will we be able to say,

Chorus

"For me to live is Messiah and to die is gain,

"For in His kingdom with Him, I'll reign,

"Forevermore! Forevermore!"

They'll try to take away our food,

They'll try to take away our Bibles,

They'll try to take away, everything we have.

But they can never take away,

Yahweh's words in our hearts,

And they can never take away our Salvation.

Chorus

They'll think it's worth nothing,

They'll say, "You're a fool!"

But as the flames roll higher,

Let us stand strong and say,

Chorus

Shine a light

There are people in this world today, for who we need to hope and pray,

People who are crying for help, for their hurting hearts are broken.

Why should we stay in our secure homes, with those hurting people around us?

Why can't we go out and be a light, give them a gleam of hopeful sight?

Chorus

We need to be a light to the world,

Show them our love, care for each other.

We need to shine a light to the world,

Shine the small testimony of our Father's love.

We need to bear the fruits of the Spirit, love, joy, and peace.

We need to have the patience of our Father, and show kindness to all we meet.

The goodness and faith of Yahushua our Master,

His gentleness and self-control He showed on the tree, for this life, and ever after!

Chorus

Bridge

May they look into our lives, and see Yahweh's spirit,

Dwelling among us everyday.

May they look into our lives, and recognize our temple,

Is the clean and pure house of Yahweh!

Chorus

You were There

Groping through the darkness, trying to find a place to hide.

I feel lost and alone, like I've been swept away with the tide.

No light to shine ahead, none close enough to reach me.

Tripping over my feet in the darkness, and my journey to the light ahead is never complete!

Chorus

But You were there!

Though I didn't see You anywhere,

You were there!

Though I couldn't find You near me,

You were there! *

Waiting for me to trust You...

Tripping one more time in the darkness, to my amazement I didn't fall.

I didn't know that sometimes, You were there to my desperate call.

A thick fog enveloped around me, just making it harder to see.

I didn't know You were standing there, stretching out Your hand to me!
Chorus

When Your great light shone about me, I quickly closed my eyes in fear.

My eyes were so used to the darkness, I couldn't open my eyes to see You near.

But as I felt the warmth of Your Sunshine, shining brightly around me.

I finally opened my eyes, and then I realized, that You were standing right next to me!
Chorus

*You were there, You were there!
You were there!

When I didn't think You cared for me,

You were there!

When I didn't feel You loved me,

You were there!

Just waiting for me to trust You,

 In Your Name

Every ocean roars at the sound of Your name,

Every mountain would rock.

Every tongue one day will sing of Your name,

Every mouth will cry out.

In Your name, You made the sun stand still,

In Your name, You burst a spring from a hill

In Your name, You made the river turn to blood,

In Your name! In Your name!

A simple shepherd, watching o’er his father’s flock,

Wrote of Your name  and Your power and love.

He saw Your miracles in the battles he fought,

Victory was won as a king he saw,

When in Your name, You crushed the enemy’s plan,

When in Your name, You helped him see who was the man,

When in Your name, You forgave him abundantly,

In Your name! In Your name!

Yahushua, walking over Galilee,

Commanded in Your name for powers of darkness to flee.

He, in Your name, turned water into wine,

Caused the deaf to hear, healed the blind,

When in Your name, He caused the lame to walk,

In Your name, He made the mute man to talk,

In Your name, He was beat and mocked,

In Your name! In Your name!

He rose again! He rose again!
In Your name!

 I Need You

My heart is full of sorrows, sorrows I can't bear,

I want to cry till I have no more tears, but then again I'm too scared.

I feel so lost and alone,  because I've lost my loved one.

Yet I want to be alone, so I can somehow cope.

Chorus

But I really need You there, Yahushua,

I really need You there, beside me.

Taking my hand and holding me tight,

Telling me it's okay to cry.

I really need You there, Yahushua,

I really need You there, beside me,

Taking my hand and leading me on, * (on end of second chorus)

Comforting me with Your everlasting love.

Brushing a few quick tears away, I try to stand strong and be brave.

I know they say, "It's okay--you can cry,"
But, inside, I don't really feel that way.

I want to stand for others, but I'm nearly bursting with the pain inside.

I long for a love--that everlasting love. But, oh, how I want to be alone!
Chorus

Comforting me with your everlasting--your everlasting love!
Oh, I really need You there, Yahushua!

To shine Your light before me!
I'm so brought down by this unspeakable grief,

The death of one whom I gave my everything.

Chorus

Yahweh's Calling

Yesterday's gone, tomorrow's coming on,

It will soon be another day, but have you forgotten to pray,

To the one who made mankind, who gave His Son to die?

Chorus

He's reaching out, with arms open wide,

Full of love and forgiveness.
He's reaching out, calling you to His side,

To give you the love that you've longed for.

Just run to His arms, and give Him your life.

The day's passing on, the Bible lays alone on the hearth,

Covered in dust, Yahweh waits for you to open and learn,

That He cares for everyone, and that He's waiting, waiting for you!

Chorus

Years passing by, He's been waiting for a long time.

But He hasn't gave up, His love is constant, His patience is kind.

Then you finally recognize, He's been waiting--now is the time!

So you see...

Chorus

Rescue Me

I'm walkin' down, this muddy road of life,

And I'm impatient for Yahushua's return.

But I know, our King is on the way,

He'll come in the clouds and take us all away!

Then He'll rescue me, from the trouble that surrounds me,

Rescue me, from the snares that befall me,

Rescue me, from the waves of this ocean's storm,

He'll rescue me!

I'm gettin' tired of this world down below,

I've lost a few family and friends.

Death is no respecter of persons, you know,

And that included one of my best friends.

I know, that I'll see him again someday,

But I wish Yahushua would come, and take me away!

Then He'll rescue me, from this horrid death-penalty,

Rescue me, from this sinful world around me,

Rescue me, from this hurricane's whirling storm,

He'll rescue me!

Rescue me, rescue me, rescue me... 2x

Then He'll rescue me, from the depression of this life,

Rescue me, from the struggles of this time,

Rescue me, from the ever-growing tide...

Rescue me!

Rescue, me....

 My Example

I’m walking along, an ocean shore.

My footprints, leave a trail in the sand on this windy day.

Yet I’m not alone as I walk on,

For my little sister’s footprints—identical to mine,

Yet smaller, are beside mine in the sand.

Chorus

I need to be a good example,

My footprints for her to follow,

I need to leave, a clear trail in the sand

I need to watch my ways and my words,

Make sure they can be repeated,

I need to do the best I can,

Or I could cause her later, to stumble.

To stumble—oh, oh…

I’m growing older, day by day,

And my childhood years, are slowly slipping away,

I’ll soon have children of my own,

And I know they’ll watch the path that I’m on.

The little feet of my children,

Will I steer the right way?

Chorus (change “her” to “them”)

Bridge:

When I look back on my life, what will I see?
With these now-grown children following after me?
Was I a good sister?
Was I a good mother?
Was I a good believer for them to see and follow?

I hope I was a good example,

My footprints they may have followed,

Did I leave, a clear trail in the sand?
Did I watch my ways and my words?
Make sure they can be repeated?
Did I do the best I could?
Or did I cause them later, to stumble.

I hope I never cause them to stumble.

Yahushua, Help me to be, a good example of You…

 Yahweh Heard

Two little girls, living alone,

With an unsaved, hurtful mother.

A family of four, longing for a baby,

The daughter praying for a sister to grace their home.

Now fourteen years old, she almost gives up,

While her thirteen-year-old brother prays on,

But Yahweh heard, up in heaven,

the cries of the little ones.

And Yahweh saw, two children on their knees,

Praying earnestly for more siblings,

In the years past, two unborns died,

The family's tears were fought back through the years,

Yahweh heard. 2x

Two little girls, growing older,

Now living with Grandpa and Grandma.

A family of four, still longing for a baby,

The daughter's wondering if Yahweh really heard,

The prayer over the years, since she was five years old,

And now it seems like an impossible hope,

But Yahweh heard, up in heaven

The cries of the little ones.

And Yahweh saw, two children on their knees,

Praying earnestly for more siblings,

In the years past, two unborns died,

The family's tears were fought back through the years,

Yahweh heard.

Yahweh heard. 2x

Then one day, the phone rang,

Two little girls need a new home,

The father told his family the amazing news.

The family, and the two little girls,

Joined as one on the day they met,

And they realized, through the years,

Though it seemed not true,

Yahweh had heard the cries of the little ones,

Yahweh saw the family's tears,

Yahweh heard the prayer of the longing two children,

Though the daughter gave up the last two years,

Yahweh heard.

Yahweh had heard.

Yahweh had heard.

Yahweh had heard,

Yahweh had heard.

It will all Fade in the End

Many people, working hard, everyday, what are they working for?
Many people, every day, are trying hard, what will they gain?
A mansion? A million dollars? BMW and maybe a yacht?
But the truth you’ll soon see is, what the Book in front of me says!

That all they have in this life, are castles made of sand;
Unstable, wobbling foundations; everything is made by man.
If a man gains the whole world, will he lose his soul in the end?
You’ve gotta recognize the truth: that it’ll all fade in the end.

Many people, waking early, everyday, depression on their face;
Many people, everyday, are full of sadness, in the race for the finer things.
If they have a million dollars, a nice, new mansion with acers of land,
All their cars—new and expensive, but in the end, what is it worth?

Because all they have in this life, are castles made of sand;
Unstable, wobbling foundations; everything is made by man.
If a man gains the whole world, will he lose his soul in the end?
You’ve gotta recognize the truth: that it’ll all fade in the end.

*Bridge*

The richest man in the world, may never make it to the kingdom.
And the hardest working citizen, looking for riches to ease his burden,
Take a look at their lives and see what you’ll find, in a life without a Creator,
He may gain the whole world, but lose his soul in the end.

  Yahweh willing more to come!
